AIRPORT NOTICES
Upon arrival at the Guanacaste/Liberia International Airport (LIR), you and your guest will disembark directly on the airport tarmac. Once inside the airport, you and your guest will be guided to immigration for the examination of your passports. After completing immigration, you and your guest will proceed to the baggage claim area to collect your luggage, which will then be screened by customs. Prior to exiting the Guanacaste/Liberia International Airport (LIR), a representative from the Four Seasons will greet you and your guest and assist in collecting your luggage from baggage claim. Please note: The Guanacaste/Liberia International Airport (LIR) offers limited climate control and limited options for food and beverage. To ensure a comfortable and pleasant travel experience, we encourage guests to dress appropriately and bring their own snacks or meals if necessary

Transportation Between The Four Seasons Peninsula Papagayo and Guanacaste/ Liberia International Airport (LIR)

Arrival
The Four Seasons Peninsula Papagayo is located at 26km al Norte del Doit Centre Liberia, Peninsula Papagayo, 5000 Carrillo, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. The resort is an approximately 40- minutes by car from the airport. Transportation to and from The Four Seasons Peninsula Papagayo and Guanacaste/Liberia International Airport (LIR) is being provided by Franklin Street via the Four Seasons. Prior to exiting the Guanacaste/Liberia International Airport (LIR), a representative from the Four Seasons will greet you and your guest and assist in collecting your luggage from baggage claim. They will be located at a Four Seasons Counter which is located outside of customs. Guest Travel will vary, please review past communication from your hostesses for specific information regarding your travel and transportation schedule. PLEASE NOTE: The chauffeur will have a guest list and will be monitoring flight schedules to proactively address any alterations in travel schedules.

​Guest departures and check-out will be hosted in the Main Lobby of the Four Seasons Peninsula Papagayo.
CUSTOMS & IMMIGRATION
US Customs & Immigration
Upon arrival to the United States, you and your guest will be required to complete the customs and immigration process which includes passport control, immigration, and customs. PLEASE NOTE: All guests will be required to claim their checked luggage before going through U.S. customs.
Global Entry &
Mobile passport control APP
Global Entry
If time allows we strongly recommend that guests enroll in Global Entry if they are not already members. Global Entry significantly expedites the U.S. reentry process by allowing travelers to bypass long immigration lines and use automated kiosks upon arrival. This can save a substantial amount of time when returning to the United States, particularly during peak travel periods.

Mobile Passport Control App
For guests who do not have Global Entry, we highly recommend downloading the Mobile Passport Control (MPC) app prior to travel. The MPC app allows eligible travelers to securely submit passport and customs information in advance, providing access to a dedicated, expedited line at U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Using the app can significantly reduce wait times at immigration and help streamline your reentry into the United States.
